Help on Automating Load Failures

Folks,

Would appreciate if someone could share experiences of sending BW data load failures as email/sms alerts to set of employees

The data load monitoring is increasingly becoming critical for me since the lauch of the infobroadcasting

Hi Ramesh,

you can achieve this using process chains.

-got to RSPC,

-right click on the load info package process and select create message.

- selct option for either error or successful

- create variant

-select maintian receipent list and provide the email address of the employee. here the system will send an automated email to his outlook with the error message.

to send an email alert as SMS is depends on your mobile provider. Some comapnies they provide email account for every mobile numner such as mobilenumber@vodafone.com. In this case you can create rules in outlook express and send an sms instantly.
