Time conversion from 0CALDAY to 0FISCPER (fiscal year ) failed

Hi Gurus,

I have been tryingto load the data from ODS to InfoCube but it's always failed with message :

Time conversion from 0CALDAY to 0FISCPER (fiscal year ) failed with value 20090109

Message no. RSAU896

Is anyone have ever experienced this error message and how you fixed it?

Hi,

If you are sure that coming data is eligible to go ahead. Then please check entries in table T009B. Table maintains FISCPER for different variant. Make sure that entries are maintained till cal year 2010 if Fiscal year 2009 extends till March 2010 in most cases. Also check that source system's settings exist in SAP have been reflected to BW. This can be done by comparing tables of both systems. If not then please reflect them using RSA1 source system.

Hello ,

In Update Rule for Fiscal Year Period click on routine tab and copy paste below code

and then reload the data.

==========================================================

data : zperiod like T009B-POPER,

zyear like T009B-BDATJ.

CALL FUNCTION 'DATE_TO_PERIOD_CONVERT'

EXPORTING

i_date = COMM_STRUCTURE-CALDAY

i_periv = 'V3'

IMPORTING

e_buper = zperiod

E_GJAHR = zyear.

Concatenate zyear zperiod into RESULT.

Is thie error present for all the values in your load request???

Did you check in your user settings if u are using the YYYY MM DD format for dates???

Hi

The former BW consultant has transported this cube to Production system. And it has no problem on loading from ODS to Cube in Bw Production system but show error on Bw Test system, eventhough every settings are the same. I checked on fiscal year varience global setting, the settings are the same as well.

Is anyone has any idea how to solve this?

Hi,

Have you checked fiscal year variant maintanance in SPRO? Just go to SPRO and then find Mainatain Fiscal year Variant. compare both system. if posible then take help of FI consultant.
