Hi there,
a default maintenance report RSPO0041 (reorg of spool) on my app sever seems to hang and blocks all BTC queues. This can only be solved by restarting the app server.
I deleted the sheduled job definitions but the job started again. I do not know which definition has started this job.
Any Ideas?
This is only a test server and I do not use spool files.
Thank you in advance,
Andi

Hi
RSPO0041 report deletes the old spools
Normally this report scheduled twice a week
could you check the frequency of this report in SM37 if it is having selection criteria huge try to reduce it and run the report in every two days

Hello,
I do not know if this solves your problem, but: RSPO0041 is quite old and obsolete. Try RSPO1041 instead, maybe the problem does not occurr any longer.

Hi again,
thanks for your informations.
Terminating the job results in an:
Error occurred determining batch work process information!
Message no. BT241
I also tried to terminate the processes via SM50 - this did not work either!
Please help me to get rid off these jobs...
Thx,
Andi

Andi,
Did you find all RSPO0041 batch jobs in SM37, searching for all job status, * for after event, and future dates?
Delete all entries.
Also, as a test, you could change your profile to have no Batch processes and restart. Then you could find and delete all RSPO0041 jobs without them running. Then add back the Batch processes.
You may also want upload a trace on the batch process.
Good luck!

Did you just schedule the Standard SAP jobs recently?
If so, just let RSPO0041 run until it finishes.
If you donu2019t want it to run, since it is a test server, cancel it via SM37 and delete the batch job.
You can search for RSPO0041 in SM37 under u201CABAP Program nameu201D to find the batch job.
Probably u201CSAP_REORG_SPOOLu201D
Hope this helps.
