Hello Friends,
Occationaly, some wps turn into 'debug mode' automatically. According to some oss note several application extractors can and will turn into 'debug mode' under certain condition. I am not sure how this work yet. What condition in BW can trigger the 'debug mode' automatically?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks,
Krishna
There are some other way also for specific components to debug in BW. For example if you want to debug BW queries, you have that options in T-code RSRT, loading simulation and /h option is always there.

Hi Krishna,
I have never seen an extractor going 'automatically' into debug mode under ANY condition.
Always we need to force the system to go into debug mode..by doing '/h' or a simulate update or ticking debug mode checkbox at various different t-code's screens.
Could you kindly send the SAP note numbers you are referring to,so that we can dig more into this..
cheers,
Vishvesh
Hi Krishna,
If you type /h (in the transaction box) and press enter, while executing a program or so it does into debug mode. If you do the same again the debug mode is switched off.
Hope it helps.
