This is with relating to document splitting reactivation.
In fact, in the mid march 09, the document splitting activation key was mistakenly deactivated. As a result, entries were being gerenated in different code without activation of document splitting. Now, we have traced the mistake & reactivated the key. However, we have found that while clearing the open items being generated after mid march 09, when splitting was mistakenly deactivated, the system display document splitting error message & not allowing to clear the documents. There are hundreds of entries of similar nature which are to be cleared.
Now, in case we again deactive the document splitting activation key, then the system will allow to clear all those documents. However, we can not do the same as other regular entries will be created without document splitting activation which can create problem later, after activation of document splitting.
In there any way to deal with this problem. We want this issued to be resolved on priority basis as we have to close the books of account for 08 09.
Please provide some immediate solution.
