Dear friends
Please tell me the usage of t.code - SE10 - transport request. Is this the code used for data transfer from Quality to production server. Any specific methods by which the QM needs could be conveyed to the ABAP /Basis persons.
regards
Selva
Dear Selva,
Use SE10 for Releasing the TR from Dev Server to Quality - Depends upon the settings made by Basis Guy &
Use SCC1 for Client to Cient copy.

Dear,
Transport Request can be released through T.Code: SE10 or SE09
Request consist of Main Request along with Dependend Request. First, Release the Dependend Request follwed by releasing Main Request.
Then run the transaction STMS (Transport managment system) in your quality and import the released system in your development system. You can check the log to see if it was successful or not.
In case of manual transport Transport Request can be imported in production using STMS_IMPORT transaction.
Hope clear to you.

R.Brahmankar

Dear Selva
Se10 is only for display of the transport request.
When you want the move the TP to either quality or production you need to release the sub TP and maint TP. The same TP number has to be conveyed to Basis team so that the TP is imported to the required client.
For movement of TP within the development client TP need not be release and you can transfer TP using SCC1
