Hi PP Gurus,

I am developing one report for PP .

and I am unable to relate the relation between the Production order and the purchase requesition for the BOM components of the production order.

the scenario flow for my report is

1. Sales order

2. Production Order against the sales order

3. MRP Run (Auto generated Purchase requisition for the production order BOM Material )

4. Tentative receiving date for the BOM material in purchase requisitions

We have a cross plant planning scenerio

Plz help in finding the relation...

Thanks in advance...

Hi,

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is often the source of demand for purchased materials in an organization.

(1) Depending on material master settings and parameters selected when running MRP, demand from MRP can generate:

(a) Planned orders: Can be converted to purchase requisitions or purchase orders

(b) Purchase requisitions: Can be converted to purchase orders

Planned orders are converted into production orders for in-house production and into purchase requisitions for external procurement. In contrast to planned orders, production orders and purchase requisitions are fixed receipt elements, which commit to the procurement.

For relation, you can explore out put of MRP i.e. using transaction code MD04.

Bye,

Muralidhara
