consignment fill up

hi,

may i know why when consignment fill up order is saved, purchase requisition is created. this is followed by create PO and do GR before create consignment fill up delivery.

It is not necessary that once consignment fillup order is created, PR, PO and GR should be generated. If the component is supplied through a third party vendor, then in that case, this is required.

In normal circumstances, the component would be produced in house by the delivering plant and in that case, you just have to create consignment fillup order, fillup delivery and delivery related proforma.

i think PR is generated because it involves the supplyof goods from vendor like third party sales might have been configured for the Consignment fillup schedule lines

so it is creating PR automatically

Normallly in standard consignment fillup there wont be any PR generated
