Save the offline Filled Interactive form

Hi all,

I've made a interactive form with LiveCycle Designer and saved it in PDF estension.

Now, from XFA document (in PDF estension) is possible that someone fill it and save his document locally in pdf format?

After the send of data with the submit button, in offline form, I would save a copy of PDF filled.

When I try to open the XFA, in abobe reader, it says me that I can't archive it and if I want make it I have to print the document filled.

Is it possible?

Hi Antonello,

if you save a xfa form from LC Designer as pdf then this pdf doesn't have ReaderRights Credentials. It is the reason why you can't save this filled form from Adobe Reader. But it is possible from Adobe Acrobat.

If you want that users could fill and save your xfa form in Adobe Reader you have to generate this form by Adobe Document Services as interctive form (then ReaderRights Credentials are applied).
