Hi Guru's

How can i calculate the SWAP memory....

C drive u2013 30 GB Operating system

D drive - DVD ROM

E drive - 107 GB

F drive u2013 599 GB

RAM 16 GB

Hi sathies

Swap memory should be 2-3 times the RAM,

but mostly (2*RAM+1)GB is sufficient for system.

Hi

Swap should be 3 types of the RAM

Based on that you allocate the size for C,E and F

Hello,

The swap space (In Unix) and page file (In Windows) should be double that of your RAM size.

And make sure that you don't allocate page file in OS installed partition (Generally it would be C:/ drive).

Hi,

Usually swap is 3-4 times of your RAM. So you can assign anywhere between 48 to 60 GB.
