ADD-ON INSTALLATION TERMINATED IN XPRA_EXCUTION PHASE

Hi,

On the test instance when we were doing add-on installation BI_CONT 704 the import stuck at

xpra_excution import_step_failure returns 12.following are the logs

Have you applyed latest SPAM/SAINT patch what is you SPAM/SAINT patch level

Check RDDIMPDP job is running in sm37

can you paste the slog entries

Make sure the statistics for the tables are updated. Check SM21 and as pointed out earlier look as SE14 and in the menu requests and also check if in ST22 if there are any dumps about the same.

Usually it is because of some space issues. Statistics will keep it running forever and probably timeout

go into SM37, check cancelled jobs

find job "RDDEXECL" than ran at "12h18"

check job log of this job to find out why it failed.

ST22- NO DUMPS

RDDEXECL -job cancelled with only general informaton

it mentioned aa ENHANCEMENT AND A FM BOTH DOES NOT EXIST BUT i found two enhancements

/MAP/ABC AND /MAP/XYZ both were inactive that i activated manually but still no luck

please guide me a work around.

Had a similar issue previously.

When you rerun double check that the error is not happening for another enhancement.

We had do this three times and each time it was flagging a different enhancement

Also have you check Note 1172899 - BI_CONT 7.04: Information about installation and upgrade

for prerquisites ?

thanks for reply each time i re-execute it points out at same BADI /MAP/M_FCMOD

can you suggest me the way so that i can start this add-on from scratch.

pravin i have already gone through the notes otherwise how can i get the password

of this installation.All the pre-requisite i have checked it is in the place.

Hi sunil,

check for import monitor remove entry if it exist there

also check for table entry TRBAT and TRJOB if there is any entry then delete it.

And restart it again.

See the job log, and start the job manually if the job is cancelled, then repeat the process.
