Hi,
I'm wonderring what are the limits of a webdynpro application.
I mean, I would like to know, if it is possible to insert some Flash component, ActiveX, or other graphical comonent (made in jsp for instance) inside a Web Dynpro conponent.
Could you please give me some examples (if its exist) of website (portal or other) made with NetWeaver (WebDynpro).
Thanks a lot,

Hi Joseph,
On the limitations front, one thing that you will not be allowed to do, is add Java Scripts directly to your Web Dynpro App. I'm not saying it is a bad thing, it has its pros and cons.

Hey Berthe,
The focus of WebDynpro is on Application programming. Like what SAP screens have traditionally done, but on the web.
This is done by having an extensive library of Layout Widgets. You can have complex tabs with multiple views on a window. It also provides a good MVC paradigm to keep the application code modular.
There are many limitations to Webdynpro. You can see some if you look at thread.
Regarding support for Flash, ActiveX and other graphical components, these are better supported in the Portal JSP Dyn pages, because you can directly embed them in HTML.
Cheers.
Sumit.
