Archiving Business Partner data(table BUT000) using CA_BUPA issues

Dear All,

I am trying to Archive Business Partners data using CA_BUPA and getting the following error

Reasons data not archived (several reasons possible)

Due To FICA Dependencies: 1

Contract Accts with this Partner Still Exist

Do I need to archive the contract account first, if yes then which Archiving object can be used?

If no then what is the solution to clear the contract A/C from BP.

All anwers are invited if someone has worked on BP archiving.

Hi Mahesh,

Yes, you would need to either archive the contracts or invalidate them so that therer would be no dependency with the BP anymore. Only then can you proceed to archive the BP.

To archive the contracts, you can use archiving object FI_FICA.
