field selection requires double click-ESS

Hi All,

I'm sure this has a simple fix, I just can't find it, might be tricky to explain but here goes:

In ESS portal, When a user selects an input field they wish to update, the field is highlighted but not selected!!, to do that the user is required to click inside the input field again. From a user's point of view requires them to double click in each box that they would like to fill in, and means that they carn't use the tab button on the keyboard, making it very 'user unfriendly'.
