Authorization error..

Hello ,

I am using BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to change material master data in my program .

I am updating the Planned delivery time field in MRP2 view.

I am having authorization for MM02 not having athorization for MM01.I am able to change Material manually using MM02 . My question why it is throwing Authrization error when I use

BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to change material .

Wheather I am missing any activities..

Is difficult to say from your description, but can you tell us on which Authorization object/ Activity it fails ?

Hi ,

USER needs to get the below role to update a maintenance status of G - Costing.

ZM: FFOSPPLYCHN_MATL_MSTR_ORNG Supply Chain Firefighter Role - Material Master

ZM: MASTER_DATA_SPECIALIST_ORNG Master Data Specialist

ZM: SERVICE_MASTER_SPEC_ORNG Service Master Specialist

ZM: SPPLYCHN_SUPER_USER_ORNG Supply Chain Supper User Role for Firefighter Access.

Hi

Glad it works for you now !§ - but the roles mentioned are your local roles, so we haven't go a clue on what's in them - they sounds big, my guess is that you can management with a lot less
