Smartforms ang barcode

HI

I have problem with barcode.

I have 6.40 BASIS so I try to use new barcode printing for smart forms; I've configured it in SE73, my print device is HPLJ4200, I've downloaded device type ZHP4300 - on printer I have not barcode, there is only data ex: 0123456789 - numbers that I plan to change to barcode.

This same when I print "sapscript-barcodetest" in SO01, but I have barcode on print preview.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I am unable to understand your question. As per my understanding Create a Character format in Smart styles and Place your date like this : <BC>&DATE&</>. It will display your date into barcode format.

Data, not date.

I need this data: 123456789 as barcode.

There is barcode on print preview, but not on paper after printing.

Sorry for missunderstanding Data as date.

I think problem is in Printer settings. Could you please check it with your basis team.

I'am a basis team, and everything is configured OK.

There is new device type from HP: ZHP4300, and HPL2 driver.

can u check to make sure u are printing on the output device (not using your local printer LP01 or LOCL ) that u have configured the device type.
