i want to supress a field in sales order for eg: requested delivery date.

where should i go and do it.

Balaji,

You can make field inactive by SHD0 T-code,

For Suppression of field you have to consult ABAPER and GUI programmer.

Hi Balaji,

There are two ways.

1)By using SHD0 T.Code.I am not going to discuss this as it is explained in the previous posts.Or you can search in the forum also.

2)By using SE51 T.code.

Goto SE51.

Enter the program name as "SAPMV45A" and screen number as "4440".

Select the layout editor.

Click on Change.

Double click on Req.Delivery Date filed.Attributes screen will be opened.

In that screen goto Display tab.Select the check box Invisible.

Save.

For this also you can take assistance from your ABAPer.

Among these two the first one is very easy and advisable.

Execute SHD0 Code, In Transaction Code Enter VA01, Transaction Variant = BUS2032 . Then list of programs will be displayed.

BUS2032_4440

BUS2032_4480

Choose "BUS2032_4440" Click Details button, Activate Invisible gainst the field REq. Delivery date.

Hi

Go to T-Code SHD0

Go to Screen varriant

In transaction code field give VA01

Screen Varriant field give ur Screen Varriant

In program field give SAPMV45A

in screen field give 4440

then click on create button

system will display the screen where u can mark Req. Delivery date option invisible.

Exactly it will solve ur problem
