Process Chain Transport

Hello ,

There is a Process Chain in Production .

I need to remove one of the Process type in my Process Chain in Development and Transport to Production through Quality .

So when i remove that Process Type .

How to include Process Chain in Transport Request -

I need to collect only necessary objects and then include in the Transport Request .

PLease suggest .

Hi,

After changing PC when you save it will ask for a request, create new transport request.

Or else you can collect required PC's through Transport connection and do the normal transport.

Let us know if you still have any doubts.

Hi

First remove the process type in the process chain in development and activate the process chain. The system will pop up for transport request and save the process chain in that request. Sometimes all the process variants would not have collected in this request, so delete this transport request from SE09.

Collection objects in Transport connection is the recommended and the follow the below steps.

1. Goto Transport Collection and select the object type option.

2. Select the grouping option as necessary objects.

3. select process chain and look for the process chain which you want to collect.

4. Collect only process chain, process chain starter and process variants.

5. Save them in a request.

6. Release the transport request and import the request in quality and production.

So when i remove the Process Type from the Process Chain .

Yep and you also have the option to transport from RSPC after the change this should collect the objects required and you can than select
