Hello thr,

Could someone tell me why the ATP screen apply during creation of a sales order. I doesn't always happen. Is there a particular reason behind this?

ATP screen apply during sales order creation because the schedule line category of your sales order item availabilty check is ticked like in CP or CN the availabilty check is ticked

This will confirm Availabilty check happens for your sales order

Availabilty check happens on material availability date (calculated by the system based on the lead times) at plant level for a material with the controls configured in OVZ9 for the combination of checking group of the material maintained in MMR and checking rule as A ( SD sales order )

Why that Availabilty pop up appears sometimes and not always ? It is because ,if the material available is 10 then if the order qty is 11 or more than that of 10 any thing greater than 10 system will come with the popup this much only can be confirmed

For a sales order qty of 10 or less there is no need to do that because the stocks are available hence it doesnt appear
