FB01 AND POSTING DATE CHANGE

Hi All,

In cogi transaction posting date was chnage through background job. When i checked i found that in background job transaction fb01 processed. Please let me know what is this fb01 transaction and why it chnaged the posting date. I am PP guy not FICO.

Posting date was changed for some of the material only not for al.

I hope i have made my query clear.

FB01 is a general transaction code with which we can post to any account type/document type (GL Account, Customer, Vendor, Asset, Material) selecting appropriate posting key and account number,

Normally it is used for any background jobs scheduled for posting any business transactions

Thnx for the resposne. But it is done for only for some of the materials in cogi. Why it didn happneded for all?
