User Defined Fields

Hi Experts,

I have a requirment that before closing a project in system means before changing the status of a project from REL to TECO or CLSD , all user defined fields should get populated with default values.

Please let me know how to achieve this or if there is any BAPI / USER EXIT or FM for this . . . .

Hi,

you can make the user fields mandatory in SPRO. so at the time of exit, the user fields will get populated automatically. mark the necessary user fields which requires input.
