SAP POS - System tag keeps changing everytime XPRESS Server is restarted

Hello POS experts

Anyone faced the issue of system tag getting changed automatically everytime the Xpress Server is restarted?

Environment: All the SAP POS components of store and HO are installed in laptop

OS: Windows XP

Database: SQL 2005 and Sybase

Version: v9.5.10.0

I have tried all possible ways of uninstalling the components and installing again. Even the same behaviour is experienced when I installed POS 2.1, not able to find out the trigger.

Hi Suhail,

May I know what solution you found to rectify the same. I am using the POS and never faced this issue. I heard that it is happening sometimes..

Is it network card issue, or any OS realted issue.
