need to re-start each node after deploying SCA files?

Hi!

We have a JAVA only EP 7.0 with 4 application servers (Windows/SQL)

We have deployed some SCA files to this EP7.0.

Do we have to restart the SAP on each server in turn to make the deployment effective

immediately ( because we cannot re-start the entire EP7.0) ?

Hi Linda,

The SCA files will be deployed in the Java schema. Did you mean 4 server nodes ? Was that a online deployment that you did ?

Check if you can find the deployed Components from System Information.

http://<hostname>.<domain>.com:port/monitoring/systemInfo

From this page select "all components" and check if the deployed components are visible. If then Stop/start is not required.
