Hello,
We have a client who uses machinery such as cars and various other heavy implements in his business. These are often allocated to diffrent projects. We would like to display a report just for managerial purposes that for every machine used in a project its revenue could be recognised and expensed to the project but added as revenue to the company.
Then after some time we would run this report and we can tell if the vehicles/machinery's revenues to the company. This is important as we would tell is have a certain machine is actually profitable or not .
Kind Regards,

Hi Martin,
Maybe you could consider using Profit Centers instead and the 'Profit Center Report'.
The profit center when used on an AR Invoice will populate the Journal Entry lines of accounts set as type Sales and Expenditure, the COGS and Revenue should be defined that way. See Note 1085205.
The Profit Center report will give you those values.
I hope it helps,
Jesper
