PO - Compare Net price

Hello friends,

Is there any standard SAP message which we can display whenever Net price price of PO item referencing a Requisition is changed without changing price in Req.

To me it looks like a custom message we have invoke in some userexit etc. Just looking if the same can be achieved by activating standard message in customizing

It is not possible to have such a message setting as what you are looking after is not in the procurement cycle consideration. PR price is only a indicative price. PR price does not get carried over to PO for pricing. Are you maintaing the PO price manually to match PR price or do you have a info record for that? Check out for availability of enhancement settings at PO stage.

You will have to activate the user exit to validate the possible difference between PR price and PO price for which the customized message will be populated.

Purchase requisition by design is just a requisition to reflect departments in a business organization to make purchase requests, at this stage of the business cycle pricing is not mandatory. Only at the time of PO creation pricing is mandatory. Given this there can be no ready made message type available for your scenario, it has to be customized message type activated through a user exit solution as you had mentioned
