Adobe form translation - SE63 English to Chinese

Hi,

I am using SE63/PDFB to edit the target language to chinese, for some reason when I try to paste chinese characters, system is not recognizing, I see square boxes for the chinese chars.

Please let me know what would be the problem. I am fine with German and Polish texta and system is taking these language characters. In se73 I see chinese available in the font family.

Also do I need to login using target language to do the translation, please advise.

Hi,

On your system toolbar , clickon the Customizing of Local Layout->Options

Go to I18N Tab.

Check box Activate Multi Byte functions to support :

this check box should be checked.

Hi Ravi,

Thank you for the response, I tried your suggestion but no luck, I checked multi byte function activate check box as suggested, then tried pasing chinese text but still see square chars.
