Import of Package

Hi ALL,

i am Creating Transporting Package and Exporting Successfull, but when i try to importing it is not imported, before importing of Transporting Package is there any settings are there, could u please tell me...

Hi Jagadish,

Check the points given under Procedure in this <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/c6/0f6fbbee629a43aca05c38db556b5d/content.htm">link</a>. See if u have done everything.

hi,

1. While importing a package,if you have that package in your hard disk(ex. d:/abc.epa),you have to change <b>Source for Package Files</b> to client. This option is available in System Admin->Transport->Import.

2.Now add that (abc.epa) file and click import,it will automatically be imported to your pcd.

What happens? Any error messages? Did you check the logs (defaultTraces).
