Shopping creation "Invalid field format (screen error)"

Hi Experts,

In the SRM 5.0 IDES. During the shopping cart creation. I tried to select goods from catalog "internal goods/services", but system pop up a dialog box "Invalid field format (screen error)", and on this box there is only one button. Does any body encountered this problem??

SAP Note 1236729 - SRM error message after kernel upgrade

Symptom

You have applied Kernel 6.40 patch level 244 (or

patch level 171 (or higher). When you then work with

Relationship Management (SRM) system in the environment

transactions BBPSC01, BBPSC02, or BBPSC03), the

message "Invalid field format (screen error)".

Cause and Prerequisites

Due to an improvement in the kernel (see Note 1232157), the system issues

the error message "Invalid field format (screen error)" because certain

screen fields in SRM are inconsistent.

Solution

Implement the following correction instructions or import the relevant

Support Package.
