BS and TS Type

Hi Group,

while creating TS and BS for ABAP proxy which type I need to select(AS ABAP,AS Java,Standlone,Third party),Could you any body explain what is the difference

between these types.

Hi,

you have to select the TS type WebAS ABAP of the r/3 system where you have to generate the proxy..... then you will have to create a BS for it keeping the client information where you have to trigger the proxy data from r/3 to XI.........

If I needs to use Web as ABAP which product/software componment version I need to use,whether it is standard or new.

Hi,

Here is the complete process in SLD.

Create a TS (WEB AS ABAP) for your R/3 system.

Create a BS and link it to the TS.

Go to So

Create a Product.

Create a Software Component under the product.

Then Go to the Technical system and link your Product.
