Gurus,
An international company having subsidiary companies in India and US ( two different company codes)
Both can sell products to same customer in Europe.
Can they maintain a common customer code?
Yes or No.
Please explain your answer.
Thank you very much in advance.
Regards,
Ashish
Hi,
Yes, They can maintain commmon customer number, the only thing they have to do is to extend the customer to Both the Company codes.

Hi
Yes they can have the same customer code
just you have to extend that customer to another company code in XD01
suppose you have 2 company codes 1000 and 2000
customer 1000 has been created in 1000 company code now you have to extend the 1000 customer to 2000 company code
the company code where you want to extend the customer
here enter the account group
code of the customer 1000
company code 2000
sales area 2000/20/20
and in the refernce coloumn enter the details
Customer 1000
Company code 1000
Sales organization 1000
Distribution channel 10
Reference division 10
where the customer already exists
