Dear All,
when I am creating the sales order in each line item we have to enter the sales employee
as mandatory field since this will provide who had created the sales order for that line
before saving the sales order.If they had not entered this data sales order should be saved
can u please explain for this scenerio how to the configuration to bring the sales employee
mandatory field in the sales order for each line item.

Try this:-
Go to Spro-Sales & DistributionMaster Data-Business partners-Customers-CustomerhierarchySet partner determination forhierarchy categories-Set Up Partner Determination for Sales Document Header-Select TA-Go to partner function in procedurechoose TA+ PE (Sales Employee)-Tick it as Mandatory Fuction.
Revert if not resolved

I would suggest you to maintain "Sales employee" field in the incompletion log.
So that if sales employee field is blank user will get a prompt. But it will allow user to save incomplete sales order.
If you don't want that Use User exit while saving sales order and check if that field is populated or not, if not display a ERROR message so that sales order will not save.

In partner determination procedure (Partner functions in procedure) tick the mandatory and then try.

Maintain Sales employee feild in the incompletion log then you can make it possible to make it enter the sales employee feild in the sales order before you save the sales order
