Condition types can be editable and non editable which will flow in accounting.

Condititon types can be statistical purpose it means we will enter only for information purpose, but for only display in sales order or billing.

Now what exactly you want to do with Discount condition type.

poplu ,

If you maintain Discount condition type, maintain condition records for that condition type. Insert it in your pricing procedure. When you execute it the proces will come automatically. Then we call the condition type active. If we further drill down if you mainatin condition records value for a specified period then that condition type is active for that period.

For those you don't maintain any value and condition record but is there in Pricing procedure. Now when you execute this condition type it does not bring any value then condition type is inactive.

This enable and disable Condition types in system. This can be felt only when you execute Pricing Procedure you can check those condition types are working and bringing in value and felt in pricing is said to be enabled. Those for which condition records values are not brought in by the condition types are in disabled. state.

If you have activated "Manual Entry" in condition type and for the same condition type if you have activated Manual indicator in Pricing procedure. Now if when you do a transaction process and need to feed in value manually, those condition types have to be entered manually and value will be given accordingly in such case the condition type is enabled. If Condition type not maintained it is disabled.

hi

If you have assi\gned condition types in your pricing procedure and maintained condition records for them and also if you have did pricing procedure determination then those condition types will be active

if you dont want those condition type values not be posted to g/l accounts then mark it as atatistical in your pricing procedure
