Goods issue on returnable basis to work center

Dear experts,

What is the correct procedure to

1) issue some loose materials to assembly or machine shop for u201CTesting & Returnu201D. Note it is NOT against an MTO.

How to account the same?

2) Issuing on u201Creturnable basisu201D to a Work Center or Cost Center.

How to take report - u201CList of items pending u2018returnu2019 from Work Center or Cost Centreu201D?

Hi,

i would suggest to make anew movement type for such type of issues to costcentre on returnable basis.

Suppose mov type 901 will signify the issue to those workcentres & mov type 902 which is the reversal will be the return. At any point of time MB51 will show the list for such type of issues.
