Hi Experts,
We have an ispection ( Inspection Type 89) lot having 10 Nos. of operation, each operation have nos. of MIC and we are posting the results on daily basis using inspection point 100. Some time during the result recording we dont want to post any result for some Master Inspection chracterstics in a operation, when we are closing the results without puting any value system gives a massage "Characteristic/Sample must be processed before it can be valuated" If we are puting zero value system close the results successfuly.
Is it possebile system pick this Zero value automaticaly.
Regards.
Ajay
Dear Ajay
Another suggestion keep the Mic as Optional. This will not give any error while Closing the mic if you have not recorded any results
if your putting 0 then the issue will be that your average, standard deviation, cp , all the statistical values for the mic will give wrong picture

Hi Ajay
As inform Gajesh, to change control indicator -> Result confirmation from "Required Char" to "Optional".
This will resolve your worry.

Dear Ajay
You can do one thing is that make the characteristic Invalid by clicking the attribute button in the RR which is standard way to do no result recording.
If the MIC is summarised then this will work but if it is single recording you will have to record one result to make the MIC Invalid
