Hello Experts,
Is the message ID same for one given message across the PI landscape or the Java stack (adapter engine) has different message ID than ABAP stack (IS) for a message?
- Rajan
Hi,
It is same MessageID in both ABAP and JAVA stack.
Thanks.

For a usual scenario, it remains same.
However, suppose you are using Seeburger adapters in your environment. In that case the message ID used by seeburger would be different that the message IDs of PI.

Hi,
to add to the above points
The message ID is a unique indicator that identifies a message. I
n the synchronous case, the request and response messages have different IDs.
The application can use the ID if it needs to access the messages again at a later point (for example, to query an acknowledgment for a message).
