Hi,
Can you please advice how does BOM explosion Number(Assignment tab) on Production Order Populated.
Thanks
Venkat
Hi All,
Thanks very much for the quick response.
In my case We have already created BOM explosion Number called 'N'.
This is seen for some orders and for some it is not populated.
We have 2 production orders , which are cretaed using same material and same project order.
One has this field (BOM explosion Number) populated with N and the other with blank?
Could you please tell me what could be the cause of this.
Thanks
Venkat

Dear Venkat,
1.Create BOM explosion number in MDSP for the FERT material for which PIR's will be maintained in
MD61.
2.While maintaining the PIR's,assign this BOM explosion number in MD61 -->click on schedule line
and then click on settings for BOM explsion number.
3.Take MRP run ,BOM explsoion number will be seen in the planned order and after converting into the
production order.
