Order confirmation through EDI

Hello

We send customer order confirmation by EDI to few of our customers, immediately after order is saved.

For one customer we want to send this conformation after 48 hours, from order creation.

Is it possible? If yes, please explain step-by-step how to do it.

This can be achieved through functional "Output timing prg' . This you can find in nace->choose you output type->in that go in tab 'Time' and mention your 'z' program in "Output timing prg' .

Thanks for answer, but I think that change will affect all customer which received order confirmation.

Please explain in more details what you mean by 'z' program in "Output timing prg'.

Should I write some program to trigger the output? I will be grateful for sample code...

Are there any standard program for this?

Hi,

Goto VA02,

Goto Extras>output>Header-->Edit.

After selecting your output type.Click on further processing.

Select the 2nd option.

Enter manually the date and time you want to process.

It is the static way.

If you want dynamic means not entering manually like this you have to go for Zprogram.Ask your ABAPer.
