Has anybody used solution database in service desk?

If i don't have a TEREX servier, can I use solution database?

Hi Blake Le,

Yes. You can use Solution Database without TREX(It is not mandatory).

We use Solution Database. We don't have TREX in place.

Hi manish,

This blog explains step by step details on how to create Solution Database.

OR

Follow this SPRO path to configure Solution Database:

SPRO->SAP Solution Manager->Configuration->Scenario-Specific Settings

->Service Desk->Solution Database->"Activate Solution Manager Services" is the only step applicable because you are not using TREX .

Note: You should have activated all BC sets of servcie desk.

Once you configured solution databse, then you can also use tcode: IS01 to create and maintain problem and solution or you can use action "Create Solution Database" action on each support message.
