Dear Experts,

We want to manage our production with SAP Business one Production Module, in production we use single Raw Material to make different Finish Goods, For this we use Production order of Disassembly type. But there are two issues First one is There are different Finish Good With different packing i.e

Raw Material is Wheat n

Finish Goods may be

1. Flour 20kg Packing

2. Flour 40kg Packing

3. Flour 84kg Packing

4. Maida 40kg Packing

5. Maida 90kg Packing

6. Chokar 20kg Packing

in Production BOM which finish goods packing we ll save.

The Second issue is

i.e we use Wheat 188 kg of Amount $200 and finish goods which we have make is

1 Bag Flour 20 kg packing

1Bag Flour 84 kg Packing

1 Bag Maida 84 kg Packing

the Finish Good Raw Material Cost should be

1 Bag Flour 20 kg packing item cost $18.80

1 Bag Flour 84 kg Packing item cost $78.96

1 Bag Maida 84 kg Packing item cost $78.96

but the Finish Good Raw Material Cost is different form this amount, it take calculate the raw matrial cost equal to the selling price. how we can change the way to calculate item cost not from selling price. it should be actual raw material cost

Thanks

I think your BOM definition has the wrong price set. Are you using Moving Avg or Standard. Do you issue material manually or is it Backflush.

Please check if you are using a wrong pricelist on the BOM. Which version of SBO?

we are using Standard one, the SAP Business one v 2007. we are issue component manually, and production order type disassembly,

1. You can list all the possible products in the BOM. The BOM has only effect only the starting state of the production order. For every production order you can modify the components and the quantities of them. And you can delete unnecessary rows.

2. The cost management of a production order is always based on the current production order. Not on the BOM. (The price lists selected in the BOM are for setting values in price list of the product.)

3. In a disassembly type production order the system uses the current item cost in the item master data for every item. If these are set to standard cost, then this one.
