difference in closing and opening balance

hi experts,

good morning to all,

i am facing a strange issue i.e., when i select fs10n for 2008 i see the balance of 100403 when i drill down the line items i can see the same value of line items 100403 but i execute for 2009 fs10n i see the balance c/f is 100703 but if i drill down and see the line items the value is showing 100403. i am unable to understand why the system is showing 300 difference in bal c/f.

can anyone tellme why i am getting difference in balances c/f.

Please execute balance carry forward program , which is a part of year end activity.

General Ledger node, choose Periodic Processing ® Closing ® Carry Forward ® Balances.

Please run FAGLGVTR tcode for balance carry forward onceagain. Your problem will be solved.

If further problem is there then revertback.

Pls check Line items in 2008 , find out there is one line itme of Rs 300 or may be diff amount is reversed in 2009
