Movement Types.

Dear Gurus,

What are the movement types that were used to assign unrestricted stock to a Particular sales Order.?

Please explain the procedure .

Your qn is itself wrong

Unrestriced means that stocks can be used for any sales order

That is open stocks

unrestricted stock to a Particular sales Order.? means what?

Stocks to particular sales order means that particular stocks cant be used for any other sales orders

So your statement doesnot carry any meaning

MB1C with movement type 561 E is stocks are initially uploaded and is against a Particular sales Order

It will not go to unrestricted at all

Hi Jyoti,

By the move ment type 561 in MB1C you can assign the qantity to a particular batch u want to with which you want to despatch if it is an configurable material .

now the status is there is unrestricted stock which can be treated as open stock with some batch assigned to it which you can assign in any sales order.

Now for assignment of that stock to a particular sales order pleaese use the movement type 412 with special stock indicator as E in the transaction MB1B and post it.Here you have to specify in which order and in which line item of that order you want to assign the stock.

After assigning please check the status of the stock by the transaction MMBE.

jyothi,

Any Sales order that is raised will absorb unrestricted quantity stock or goods. Even in standard process the goods are absorbed only from unrestricted stock.

Is it MTO materials?

Then go to MB1C,

Put the movement type 561, Then u can see beside it special Stock tab : enter " E" there, then enter the order number.
