1. what r the tcodes we have to use for Performance issue
2. how to use those tcodes and how to do performance analysis
3. what are the main areas we need to concentrate initially
4. Who is responsible for BW (any) performance is concerned? Basis or BW team
5. What Basis team have to do and BW team have to do for performance analysis?
can any throw lights on this

1. DB02, ST02, ST03, ST05
3.Performance tuning is at various levels :
1. Data Modeling
2. Data Loading
3. Report design
4. Reporting
It is a mix and match of the above and other factors you might need to consider could also be something like:
1. DB being used
2. Partitioning
3. System parameters
4. Authorization Design...
5. Query performance
6. Extraction , transformation & loading performance
7. Web application performance
All this depends on the level of performance tuning you want to do:

3. TSTCT IS THE TABLE WHICH CONTAINS TRANSACTION CODES
TO GET LIST OF TRANSACTION CODES IN BW
1.GO TO SE93
2. PRESS F4
3. IN THE SEARCH TYPE RS* TO GET THE LIST OF TRANSACTION CODES STARTING WITH RS
these T-codes will help up to go directly to that particular screen for example to go to administrator workbench u can use t-code rsa1.
