Follow up transaction

HI

I have a requirement where I have to display in web UI the notes content of the service order in the business activity notes field.The business activity is created through follow-up.

Can anyone provide some pointers on this?

Why don't you copy text content from service to activity transaction. But of course you'll have to do this via badi enhancment of copy control.
