How do i migrate all the things to another XI, including
the Integration Repository and Integration Directory?
import and export just OK? If so, is there any special to
pay attention to?
Appreciate your reply.
Hi Leo,
You can export the components devloped in your IR and ID as a TPZ file into your XI server. This file can now be used to import the same component into another XI box / Server.

Hi leo
CMS or Change Management Service is used to transport XI objects (IR & ID) from one XO server to another.
Here is the guide that gives the complete procedure for installing as well as using CMS for XI transport.
- Go to http://service.sap.com/nw-howtoguides
- Select Exchange Infrastructure.
- There is a list of documents.
- Go to document "How To Transport XI Content Using CMS".
- For faster search, go to Edit menu -> Find -> search for a term "CMS"
- Locate the above document.
This guide is for SP13. So you may need to upgrade SP level of XI system, if you have lower version.
Also, refer to the relevant SAP Notes or other documents mentioned in this guide.
It is crucial that for using CMS, all the components - JDI, WAS(J2EE) etc. must be at same patch level !!!

Hi,
Export in the IR and ID, would only create tpz files and store it in the database.
An import would retrieve it from there.
In the other xi system, make sure that a business system corresponding to the objects you are trying to import is present in the SLD. Else it would throw you an error.

Smitha.
