Install Solution Manager on a 32-bit Hardware

Hi,

I have just got hold of Solution Manager 4.0 SR4 and it seems I could not install this on a 32-bit H/W and OS. I am using Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition and MS SQL Server 2005.

Is there any way that I can install Solution Manager on a 32-bit H/W and OS?

You can give a try downloading this kernel for your platform

UC-Kernel 7.00 it will work for SR2 also

You need to order the same from SAP there is no solution manager 4.0 or 3.2 available in the market place except solman 7

Yes Hardware needs to be 64 bit on you should install 64 WIndows 2003 64 OS

There are 2 options left out for you

1st Option

========

Installing Solution Manager 4.0 or Solution Manager 3.2 patch the system till support pack level SP14 which then becomes Solution Manager 7.0 (4.0 Support Release 4)

2nd Option

========

Order Solution Manager 4.0 SR2 software package from SAP

For a while now, installs have been available for 64-bit only. But upgrades are available for both 32- and 64-bit.

Only Solution manager up to SR2 can be installed on 32 bit hardware. But if you will see the system performence then its not so good on 32bit hardware, so i would suggest to install on 64bit Hardware.
