Identifying Ruleset Changes

We use the export/import feature to move ruleset changes from test to prod (i.e. export the ruleset from test and import in to prod.) During a recent audit, it was documented as an issue that we could not confirm all the changes that were made in ruleset updates, but could only go by what was noted by the person making the changes. Has anyone found a way to capture these changes when using the export/import method -- maybe a query that could be executed that would show the differences between ruleset or some other method?

Personally for me when comparing rules I use the table /VIRSA/ZCRAUTH and make a download from each of the systems I'm comparing. From there I put them into Microsoft Access and create a column which contains all the other fields so it creates a code for that entry. From there I can compare Unmatched Entries between the 2 tables and this gives you the differences between the rule sets.

You should then be able to see where there are differences between the systems.
