Hi,
I've got to create a financial type report containing various information based upon general ledger numbers.
Does anyone know if there is an alternative to creating a hierarchy depicting the formation of the group headings and their associated general ledger numbers?
Also, within one or more of these groups, there could be the same general ledger account number! Is it possible to have a g/l # appearing in more than one place in a hierarchy? If not, do you know how I can get round this issue?

You could create a structure within the query itself but depending upon the number of accounts you require, it will probably be easier to create a hierarchy.
You can also have duplicate account numbers in a hierarchy as there is an Link Id option you can select. Please read the following to find out more about this option:
