dear

when i split batch in delivery note ,a error message''No search strategy could be found'' is get .

Can anybody help me out the trouble ,thanks ahead.

For this check whether you have carried out configuration for strategy types as per your requirement

a. IMG --> LG --> Batch Management --> Batch Determination and Batch Check --> Strategy Types --> Define sales and Distribution strategy types

Check here whether you have maintained Search strategy for Sales and Distribution based on Customer/material or Customer maerial or plant

Note: you can create your own condition table and access sequence based on which you can execute search.

b. IMG --> LG --> Batch Management --> Batch Determination and Batch Check --> Batch Search procedure definition --> Define sales and Distribution search Procedure

Here you make a copy of the standard procedure and check whether you have mainatined your strategy type inside the procedure

c. IMG --> LG --> Batch Management --> Batch Determination and Batch Check --> Batch Search procedure definition --> Allocate SD Search procedure/ Activate.

Its here that we assign Search procdure to Sales area and sales document type and also you will have to activate Check Batch Indicator.

Moreover if you would like to have Automatic Batch determination then follow the procedure

d. IMG --> LG --> Batch Management --> Batch Determination and Batch Check --> Activate Automatic Batch Determination

a. Activate Automatic batch determination for sales order items

Here you activate the item category for batch determination

b. Activate automatic Batch Determination for Delivery Item categories.

Here you activate the delivery item categories

If you are using Batch Split Check

For Batch Split you need to maintain Batch split Item Category - CHSP

Try to maintain Delivery Item category determination IMG u2013-> LE --> Shipping --> Deliveries --> Define Item Category determination in deliveriesu201C as

LF(Delivery Dcoument Type) --> NORM (item category Group) --> CHSP(Usage) = TAN

CHSP - Batch split (Maintain it for your delivery document type)

2. TAN item category has to be activated for Automatic Batch determination

path IMG --> LG --> Batch Determination and Batch Check --> Batch Search Procedureallocation and Check Activation --> Activate Automatic Batch determination in SD --> Activate Automatic Batch determination for sales order items

Activate indicators for TAN item category (Maintain it for your Item Category)

3. Allocate automatic Serach procedure/ Activate check

path IMG --> LG --> Batch Determination and Batch Check --> Activate Automatic Batch determination in SD --> Activate Automatic Batch determination for Delivery item categories

Enter your sales area + sales document type +search procedure + Activate u201CCheck Batchu201D indicatoru201D

Activate indicators for delivery item category - TAN

Here define sales and distribution strategy types

Here warehouse management strategy types if warehouse is used

Also in t code 0VLP check determination has been activated for your delivery item category if you do the other settings the delivery item cat will automatically update but better to check that also

Define strategy types(like condition types)

 define S&D strategy types.

In strategy types we can maintain data.

a) SORT Rule

b) maximum no. of batch splits

c) Determine whether batch number can be change for batch split during batch determination

d) unit of measure in which batches are displayed for selection

e) whether batch determine should be performed in a dialog mode.
