Hi everyone!
I'm new in SD. Is there a way in which I can manually closed the contract in VA42 without the option of deleting it? Thanks!
you can achive in two ways
--> Put validity to period , so that this contract can not be referenced for further
--> Enter the reason for rejection at item level for each item in contract, if you dont want to process this to further.

Hi,
What you are currently experiencing is correct as it's standard SAP
function that the value contract status will remain as 'Being Processed'
until you inserted a 'Reason of rejection' into your value contract.
This standard behavior was documented in our online documentation:
SAP Online Help-> SAP Library->Logistics->SD->Sales->Customer Contract
->Value Contracts->Completing Value Contracts
And it's stated below:
A value contract is complete when you enter a reason for rejection. You
can define how the systems reacts when you have reached the target value
in Customising for value contracts (item category) YOu define the following
reactions; a warning, and error message or no reaction.
I hope I was able to help you.
Kind regards,
Zsuzsanna
