Uninstalling add-on package installed with an AAK

Good Afternoon,

The company I work for has a certified solution for a couple of the integration scenarios. I anticipate that sooner or later one of our customers is going to want to uninstall our package from their system. Could you please tell me the SAP recommended method for uninstalling and add-on package that has been installed using an AAK?

Hi John,

There is no way to unistall a support package or an addon..the only and better way is to restore ur backup with recent arichivelogs(if ur sys is running archivelog mode)

Hi John,

I'm sorry, but it's simply not possible to uninstall an add-on package. The Add-On Assembly Kit supports no methods for deleting an add-on from a system.

Hello Christoph,

Is it still the case that the AAK does not support the un-installation of an ABAP Add-on?

If not - what is SAP's recommendation for ISV's regarding the decommissioning of ISV ABAP Add-on software installed at a client site?
